Respect for the natural materials that NC Marmi works every day is a fundamental corporate value that drives the constant investment in achieving sustainable future development.
NC Marmi is engaged in reducing the environment impact of its processes and in supplying products that increasingly protect the natural resources.
The factory uses dust suppression systems that incorporate special walls that are permeable to water and that prevent environmental emissions.
It has adopted the recycling, filtering and reuse of water from processes to avoid it entering the environment, notwithstanding the fact the water is not hazardous waste since it contains only the sludge of natural materials.
In 2010, during the restructuring of the workshop, the premises’ entire Eternit roof was removed and disposed of in accordance with the asbestos regulations for the protection of the environment and the health of the workers.
It was replaced with a roof bearing 160 photovoltaic modules in polycrystalline silicon capable of producing around 40,000 Watts, thereby making the premises "clean" and self-sufficient in energy.
